Design on Sportswear - Zipper Elements

Today I would like to share a small accessory design: the zipper puller element.

The pioneer of the zipper industry, YKK, represents the industry standard and has become an 

indispensable design element for global outstanding fashion brands.

The quality of the zipper is the core of this design element. In our high elastic sportswear industry, 

many well-known brands and niche designers use it to enhance their brand recognition and ensure 

comfortable beauty.

In recent years, there have been four main design trends:

1.  Minimalist zipper heads: 

Characterized by a simple appearance, diverse styles, and materials such as alloy, resin, and copper, 

as well as processes like injection molding, dripping adhesive, embossing, inlaying, 

and gradient effects.

2.  Rope series zipper heads: Featuring a variety of sand lines, colors, and printing options, 

and presenting unlimited design possibilities with options such as antibacterial ropes, 

waterproof ropes, and environmentally degradable ropes.

3.  Functional series: Featuring reflective and noise-reducing functions, such as rubber-coated 

reflective zipper heads and pressure-free zipper head designs for tennis and soccer apparel.

4.  Environmentally friendly series: Featuring recyclable materials.

In conclusion, zippers have evolved from a part of clothing to a closely related presence in society 

and the development of the times. In the competitive sports market, the path of brand 

innovation lies not in overthrowing, but in continuing and improving past classics. 

Upgrading small details is the trend.
